We Can’t Fix Everything Alone

Sometimes we need to lighten up on the world

Why so serious?
Some days ignore the bad news
If you can’t change it

It is too easy to get caught up in the constant bad news that bombards us every day.

Those of us in the U.S. who thought everything in public life would improve after the national elections in November — -what a nasty surprise was waiting for us.

Albert Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

It keeps occurring to me that this may be why no one has created workable solutions to Americans’ disagreements among ourselves.

All of us are sticking too close to the insiders’ opinions and arguments. If they had solutions, wouldn’t we know them by now?

Maybe we need to listen to new ideas from those outside the immediate environment surrounding the problems.

We need to hear from someone on a different level of consciousness, as Einstein might say.

Before you ask: no, I don’t have any names in mind at this moment. Do you?

Writing on whatever strikes my mood, from politics to humor (or a combination of the two), to spirituality, or whatever else shows up. Retired, not in retreat.
