Starting A New Life Chapter

Older age and a too-clear mirror
Try to tell me to leave ideas
Of another love behind.
But the feelings in my body
And the ideas in my mind
Tell me to forge forward.
To laugh with the wrinkles,
Instead of frowning at them.
To follow my active intuition
Wherever it wants me to go.
To start a new chapter
And leave this lull in my life behind.
