I agree with you, Patrick. WW2 had to be fought and won by the side that wanted world domination the least (at that time). The conflicts I address in this article. Vietnam and Afghanistan, are both undeclared wars, which once led to the questions, "Why did the government start these actions without following the Constitutional requirement that Congress is the only part of U.S. government that can authorize a war.
Sorry, I'm getting too detailed, but the point is, If a problem is so bad that it must be addressed militarily why are the members of Congress afraid to sign their names to it? Afraid of losing their jobs?
This is such a complicated subject. Actually, this morning I read one of your posts from earlier about it, in general terms, "The Pros and Cons of Being Human." Everyone should read that. And more of us should try to find solutions reflecting better humans in the future.
